Creating DTS Monaco projects - MrEcho - 12-07-2023

Hi all,

I'm a noob to monaco but thought this may help some people out. If any pro's think my information is bad please let me know as i dont want to share bad info.

To create a project/workspace you can follow these instructions which i found on my own by playing with the software.

Open Monaco

Click administrate and manage DTS projects

Right click in the project administration box and New project.

choose modular optimised databases the click next

Add the SMR-d files for the vehicle you're working on (Files are included with Xentry installation @ "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\MB_PKW\SMRX\" for Cars and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\MB_VAN\SMRX\" for Vans ). The modules used for each vehicle can be found by doing a quick test in Xentry and viewing the data from the quick test. Do not add the entire directorys as the file limit is i think 300.

Click next and name your project. Exit administrate and manage DTS projects.

Back at the main monaco screen click create a new workspace.

Choose your project then in the templates box choose "MBCar_MBVan_SMR_DiagnosticCAN_V_02_05" , Click OK.

Once its open click File and Save, You can then name the workspace.

After that click on configuration menu and change the workspace to Execution mode to view the all the modules and different variant options in Variant Coding. You can check the Defaults (offline) option for viewing different variants.

If you now close the workspace you can open your newly created project & workspace again from the main Monaco screen from the open a workspace (execution mode) section.

Hope this helps, if it does hit Thanks + Rep.
