Help needed converting HN+ from KR to EU - chr0sy - 23-07-2023
Hi.
I have HN+R_KR_AU_P0595 software version and nav database version: 8110
04 2015 by HERE
I’ve read the following article to convert my unit from Korea to Europe:

And I’m perfectly clear how to do it. However I read here in an old thread where a member states that the HDD needs to be partitioned because the KR and Japan versions of the mmi have the nav partition smaller than the EU requires it, therefore a repartition has to be made. There’s also something about eeprom because of the language, I don’t fully understand why or how to do it.
There are also people who claim it has worked, however I don’t want to risk bricking my unit. Is there anyone who can help? If it needs to be repartitioned, how do I go from here? What about the eeprom language?

I think you misunderstood me. I'm perfectly clear how to do region change as for the instructions provided by audienthusiasts, however in those instructions it never mentions anything about eeprom changing byte codes or repartitioning HDD, therefore with these two additions i now don't know if i can do it alone without someones help, theres literally nothing on google

No need to touch EEPROM, just write language datasets after conversion.
For HDD repartition I did post a script somewhere on here before.
Still there is a chance unit gets stuck in SWDL and need to manually clear update.txt.
