F25 6WA Retrofit - ZGW problem - Krysiaman - 08-08-2023
Hi!
I have problem with an F25 - 2013 year.
Car had basis cluster, CHAMP2 without MOST and ZGW without most.
I have retrofited 6WA cluster, ZGW 02 with most and CHAMP2 with most. Connected MOST cable to each other. I can see modules in ISTA, they are somehow working but I can't detect them in E-SYS.
Is it a problem with ZGW or I have to somehow initialize these modules in ZGW?

Do you use „ECU read“ in ESYS?

Yes but it can't detect these modules. To handle coding I have modified SVT_IST file and loaded it in E-SYS. But I wonder why it doesnt show up when I use ECU Read?

Sure? You write it in SVT then it is in car.
…next time i will write tv-Modul in SVT, then i have TV in car.
„ECU Read“ read out all installed modules from car.

That’s right, normally read out SVT_IST over „ECU Read“ and then write back to VCM.
When „ECU Read“ not give all ECU‘s what will you write in the SVT, which HWEL, BTLD, SWFL …?

Read ECU doesn't detect these modules. Tried many times.
I have generated SVT_SOLL with new SA options to gain info about HWEL, BTLD, SWFL etc and I have copied it to SVT_IST and it worked. Tried to update VCM manually and by coding any module. Nothing works. ISTA see them without any problem.
Maybe the problem is with ZGW.
I had ZGW-02 4SK (9299594) and replaced it with ZGW-02 Mid Plus with MOST plug (9232163). Had to flash it to ZGW2 using modified SVT. I still wonder why does it want different HWEL from ZGW?

If you flash ZGW-02 MID Plus to ZGW2 you lost MOST on this. After Flash you has ZGW2-4SK.

So why every function in car works? I have nav guidance info on cluster.

I'am not a F25 expert but your combination is not correct. Can "Extended Instrument cluster" work with HU 606 or you need 609?
606 give ZGW2-4Sk > CHAMP2 > BKOMBI
This combination dont use MOST
609 give ZGW2-4SK > HU_NBT > KOMBI
This combination use MOST from KOMBI to HU_NBT, NBT is MOST-Master and don't need ZGW with MOST.
EDIT:
Ok, when i add 610 (HUD) your combination is possible and don't need ZGW with MOST only 4SK. I think in this combination CHAMP2 is MOST-Master.
