F30 LCI B38 wastegate actuator not adapt - ArcziArcz - 28-08-2023
I have a problem with the F30 lci from 2017, the errors are:
123401 Electric wastegate, adaptation: Cold start not learned and
123422 Electric wastegate, adaptation: Start position close not detected
I replaced the wastegate adjuster but it does not adapt.
Now it says to replace the turbocharger.
Has anyone dealt with this, the wastegate flap does not close, therefore it cannot pass the learning of extreme positions

Did You try adjust wastegate linkage with service function in ISTA?

replacing wastegate actuator only temporary fix, mechanism inside turbo wears after 50-100k km.

I connected a new turbocharger with an actuator and errors immediately became inactive even without learning
