BMW CAS3 Repair - BS68 - 16-09-2023
Hi friends
A colleague tried to program a new key on a BMW E87 1.18i 2011, he blocked the car, he took the CAS3 to repair and the ignition came back, the starter is ok but not starting.
The main key (original) is no longer recognized by ELV, the new key is recognized and turns on the ignition.
I tried to reprogram a new key to be sure, everything is ok but no start
Fault code:
*A0AA* CAS Defective Box
*2F49* DME/EWS Manipulation Protection.
CAS3 : 61.35-9237047-01 2111020496
5WK4 9515EBR
In Inpa it is indicated that EWS4 is locked. Reset ELV ok, Sync DME/CAS impossible, i tried many tools but impossible.
So i read the ISN on ECU and (flash/memory) of CAS3, would it be possible to help me to start the car, i am willing to donate willingly,

does the DME has long or short ISN, makes big difference, if long ISN cannot do sync, if ISN match car will start.
First Back up flash and eeprom form CAS,
then flash the CAS using good tool with stable voltage on bench or on car problem could be solved.

Friends, i removed the ECU but my tools can't read it except Autel only gives me the ISN numbers.
I will continue my research, really no luck for me,
