VAG EDC17C74 Ad-Blue and NOX off - Jacce75 - 18-09-2023
I have deleted Ad-Blue and NOX from a Passat 2017 with EDC17C74. Now the problem is that Ad-Blue range is still in dash and showing -----. It is not removable thru dash adaptions. Some ppl say that it should go away when Ad-Blue is removed from ecu dump and some say that it isn't removable.
Have any of you gurus better knowledge about this problem? I'll attach ori file just in case. Can any one help me?

Engine light and warning messages dissapeared but dash still has range as "-------" in driving data. Is it possible that adblue range is harcoded to dash and not removable?

what would you want on adblue range lol when car has no adblue, this is in special menu, not shown all the time...if you want not to have adblue range at all in menus then code the dash no adblue...

This matter is the hole point. I dont want the adblue range appear in dash because it is deleted from engine ecu. If i understand correct, it is not codable from dash. I have gone thru every adaption channel.
Update: I think I found the adaption channel from Address 5F: Information Electr. module. Adblue is not activated in the menu there so therefore it is not selectable in driving data either.
I'll try today to make the changes in 5F and adapt dash, then report back.

I activated the adaption channels but no more menus appeard in mib so i could disable adblue screen from dash. Guess I have to live with the adblue range then.
