FTP servers have been down a long time. Only thing that still works is Admin Client. There are newer version of all the software freely available on Cartech.

Why would you use this tool if you have new BMW Admin client and working login credentials? The point is to install old admin.

Who says that I have working login credentials for the new BMW Admin Client 4.1.7.xx? If I had that, I would have not tested the program.

Guess I assumed when you made statement about BMW Admin Client 4.1.7.xx. I never claimed it installed the newest client and you can see in OP with video which version it does install. The newer software versions to which I referred are ISTA-P, ISTA+, and HDD-Update. The old admin client still works with ISTA-P and HDD-update. You must use standalone for ISTA+.

The standalone version does not require admin client. For ISTA+ native install, you need actual login credentials and admin 1.8 will not work.

I know not. I only have the admin client from this thread, which I used to install ISTA-P 3.59.4. I use standalone ISTA+ from pshoey.
