Problem starting Nissan Pathfinder 2007 r51 - opsys - 30-09-2023

Hello,
I have a starting problem on a Nissan Pathfinder from 2007 (r51) this after wanting to reprogram a key with IM608 Autel. Unable to program a new key and now the vehicle will no longer start. To troubleshoot I had to put a Denso and BCM + 1 key from a Navara.
I still have to manage to repair it because on the R51 it was a hands-free key and the owner needs it as originally.
If anyone can tell me where the problem could come from that would be great.

Is this a 729 twist prox key system?

RE: Problem starting Nissan Pathfinder 2007 r51 - opsys - 30-09-2023

Hello RocketSurgeon. No longer old. Its reference (by opening the original one (BP97W-21) corresponded to id46 PCF7936 (a priori) and therefore: 285E34X00A / 285E3EB30A. What I bought to reprogram.

Did you try with other tool ?

RE: Problem starting Nissan Pathfinder 2007 r51 - opsys - 01-10-2023

Hello raffy haddad. No because I don't think I have any tools specific to this brand. However, I have quite a few things. What tool, for example, would be necessary? On the other hand, I recovered the data from the ECU and that of the BCM but that of the BCM does not seem viable to me. If I compare the file from this forum (https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=40331) where the vehicle would be roughly equivalent, well that has nothing to do with it. I tried to generate a transponder with VVDI but again it did not work with the IM608. For me I think that the BCM data was corrupted because I also read that with this type of keys and certain BCMs there was a problem.
I've been trying to find the problem for some time now. I also tried to ask the question on another forum in French where I used to go a little and for the moment nothing concrete. If you could really help me I would be very grateful. THANKS.

Can you post bcm label ? To check if is on the black list nissan bcm ?
If you are sure that bcm corrupted try this go to diag programming bcm online with I'm608
try to reflash bcm with its orig data
regards , 2007 car usually skp 900 x 100 or lonsdor or any capable tool
I read a lot of good news and bad news about the 608 or bad user or .......
who knows

RE: Problem starting Nissan Pathfinder 2007 r51 - opsys - 01-10-2023

Yes of course. Here it is. As for reflashing the BCM with the im608 I could try but the vehicle is 100 km one way from my home. Which is a lot of km round trip. So I want to be sure not to go there for nothing this time because since the first time it is equivalent to crossing France.. I have only had the im608 for about 6 months and I don't know it by heart again even if it is quite easy to use. Finally ! for some things because other times it's more complicated. As for the skp 900 x 100 or the lonsdor I don't want to invest now in this type of equipment. Unfortunately, I have other investments already planned and the vehicle owner is now getting impatient. For me there is nothing good written in the BCM anymore. I read the M93c66 with a GQ-4X4 and got slightly different readings each time.

Clean eeprom pins good and retry reading ,
borrow other tool from any of your frwinds and test no need to invest in any other tool for now
but from my experience the new tools like I'm608 and others not good on old models specially they guide you and you don't have conteol on the tool except press yes or no

about your bcm is not on the list
, about the distance personally I risk and get learn from it  , each person has his own thinking

P.s check if the steering lock stuck its also known problem

RE: Problem starting Nissan Pathfinder 2007 r51 - opsys - 01-10-2023

Thank you for this information. Your feedback allowed me to think about rereading the Bcm with the im608 and not the GQ-4X4 because I had brought it home. The reading was very different and more like what it should have been. As for the steering column, no worries because to help the owner I put a BCM + a key and a Navara ECU. I just reprogrammed the injectors and it has been drivable ever since. So after rereading the eeprom on the table at home with the IM608 I added a new key by writing the Dump in the 608 menu (with the IM key programmer). I think this added the key correctly and I returned the file to the BCM once modified. All I have to do is try it on the vehicle. What do you think ?
Maybe it's viable? because I didn't see any other key written and I think the previous one was erased. If we resume the programming cycle of the im608 it clearly says that all the keys will be erased and that all the new ones must be represented.

Yes all nissan when add or akl it will erase old and reprogram old and new
good luck and keep us informed
