BMW Software Update and Bluetooth® compatibility - Twointje - 23-10-2023
My F10 had a NBT from factory ,but i had a retrofit done from NBt to NBT-Evo ID5 and everything workt perfectly even Appla carplay. using the cellphone with Apple Carplay werkt perfectly ,but since some weeks after another Ios update i noticed that that there are several cracks on the line when using the cell phone in the car.
Now i am looking for a way to see if there is a software updates for for Bleutooth compabilety for this NBT-EVO ID5 but with my VIn i can only see the updates for the NBT on the BMW software and bluetooth update site.
Is there someone that can provide me the latest update or a Vin of a BMW that has a NBT-Evo build in from factory??

Try this file via usb FAT 32 + update screen
If its already at last version use esys..

You can check the vin in the attachment, your vin seems to be updated...
The file that I previously posted is the latest version of BT

Yes that vin is updated and you already uploaded latest version, just an example vin they can use to check in future if any later updates are released since they asked for example vin. Thanks

Thank you everyone for all the help , so this usb file is the latest software update for the IDrive? And I don’t mean the I-level of the unit. Why did you mansion if it is already at the latest use Esys????The I-level of the unit is flashed at 1803 because I kept the original screen of the NBT.
I wonder how the software update site from BMW works after you entered the VIN ? How can the website know which software is in your car? The original owner of that VIN maybe updated his I-Drive to the latest software version so you get a message after entering the VIN you are on the latest software, but people like me also get the same message and don’t get any file to download but my IDrive hasn’t been updated since the retrofit in 2018. Yesterday night I found a VIN of a G30 of 2019 but when I entered the VIN on the BMW website to update the software I got the message that my car has the latest software , so there was no link to download anything.
That’s why having only a correct VIN is not the solution because if the owner of the car already updated you don’t get a download link, so if this file is the latest software version for the IDrive thank you very much.
