Hello, I have a problem with changing the VIN in the engine controller med17 mini r56 2012. I replaced the engine from N16 to N14 (engine with ECU and CAS with key). The car starts and runs without any problems. I changed the CAS number to the original one from the car and the car has an error and is in service center cannot add gas, SWT manipulation error
I need to change the VIN in the engine controller to the correct one

Is not vin related, but software related. It's asking for FSC.

just under which VIN should the FSC be uploaded because these engines differ in power

First of all you must flash the correct sw. When you changed cas vin you triggered SWT. There is no fsc for vin of the car so no software with fsc, so standard power. And there is another issue, if typekey will not match the new hw, dealer will replace it. My suggestion is to leave all as is and disable SWT dtc in ecu and see if works.

Ecu full read and disable that DTC in sw, you cant exchange from one to cooper or vice versa because of fsc.
If you exchange cooper to one you have to flash one sw if possible and you will loose power.
If you exchange one to cooper you have to flash cooper sw if possible and inject fsc or you will have SWT tampering.
if not possible to flash you have to replace hw with correct type.
SWT works between cas vin, dme vin, fsc vin.
The other issue you can find in doing this is with power class, so if you want to solve this easily, suppress DTC swt tampering.

I turned off the error and the car still revs up to 1200 rpm, I can't press the gas

send original full read and dtc code (i suppose 3045)
