What are SMR-D and CBF Files on DTS Monaco? - Wolf38 - 27-01-2024
Hi Guys,
I am new on here and it's great to have a lot of smart people around!
I am in the process of learning to use DTS Monaco 8.16 and 9.02, can someone please explain what are SMR-D and CBF files? I want to learn the foundations of the software and build my way up.
Also if any of you have any kind of guides, videos, pdf's etc for using DTS MONACO it will be great help if you can send them over.

Neither Monaco nor Vediamo include any files in their installers, the easiest way to get them on your own Xentry system.

Okay perfect I'll do that, But can you please explain what are SMR-D and CBF files? From what I can understand they are files specific to a car eg w205 that have most recent coding data? or is that they these files allow you to access different modules to be able to change the code?

SMR-D files and CBF files are needed for DTS Monaco / Vediamo to connect with specified units of the car.
So for every carmodel and every unit, you need another file(s).
My advice is to search the web for some more information, and even maybe some guides for DTS Monaco/Vediamo which is findable through the web.
