Volvo S60 2013 B00791B - Ratnik1990 - 24-02-2024

Hi.
Have Volvo S60 which was involved in little crash, no airbags deployed.
Needed to change belt tensioner only, but I still have error B00791B ( driver seat belt pretensioner ´B´deployment control (subfault) , general electrical faults, circuit resistance above threshold )

I found that Volvo had technical campain on these models before by installing resistor on this one, so IF car was involved in accident this resistor could be burned.
I replaced to new one resistor with 2,2 k but I cant delete this fault still.

Does someone have idea what I should do ?

Thanks for all help.

hi
the tensioner has a different resistance in BMW, for example, it is 680 ohms or 510 ohms, put it on diagnosis, go to the parameters and see what the resistance is on the other tensioner
regards

there are two tensioners - one on pillar (A) and one on seat (B)...today been doin' 2012 XC60 and 2,2 ohm (NOT 2,2 KOHM) resistors worked for it to check if problem in tensioners or somewhere else.
