Peugeot 206 2003MY odomenter correction need - roanoke - 29-02-2024

Hi Friends

I need to correct odometer.

After replacing the counter (dashboard)

- old dashboard 290k
- new used dashboard 410k

I need the new one to change the mileage to the old one, i.e. 290k.

I will post photos of the meters later.

1. Is the mileage in this counter in EEPROM or MCU?
2. What about BSI? How to check the mileage in BSI? And is he even there?
3. After installing a new odometer with a higher mileage, should the BSI mileage (290k) be transferred to the new odometer?
4. What tool will I use to do it through the OBD2 connector? Is it possible or not?
5. Please provide instructions on how to perform this activity.

Regards.

Hi you have to do dash and bsi , if you connect new dash bsi take now 410k.

That's exactly what happened.
Now I have 410k on DASH.

What now?

Do I need to correct DASH and BSI separately?

Is it enough to correct the BSI and then DASH will rewrite the new/corrected BSI mileage?

Is it possible to make corrections in BSI or DASH or both with some device? E.g. Digiprog? Iprog+? Carprog via OBD2 connector?

At your own risk, what are you trying to do ? If you need to correct odometer you must remove needles to access the eeprom

yes, I want to make a mileage correction,
I wonder if I can do it using the pins in the socket
(I have digiprog, carprog devices) Is it possible?
I also need a transmission line in this socket.

i don't think it will work through the pins, open cluster and see what chip is inside, this software is quite good for correction

Maybe it's a good program, but there is no 206 model there
