8P0920932D Micronas Dash - no Adress 25 - chrisi1909 - 24-03-2024
Hi,
Anyone had a 8P0 Dash that lost its Adress 25 (Immo) Function ?
With Diag you can access Adress 17 (Dash) but not Adress 25 (Immo) anymore.
Is this EEP or Flash Failure and maybe fixable or is it just done for ?

I'll justcopy my response to your last thread:
Hello Chris,
it's an easy fix, had this 3 times:
open cluster from the back side.
The immo pcb is the first one you see.
Warmup the board from one end to the other and try to connect on diagnostic every time.
At one point you will have success.
Can't remember where it was, but i only hat to resolder two pins.
When you fixed it (also only temporary), read immo data, so you have an easy life if it really dies somedays.
(in my cases i never needed it).

I´ll try it with heating, maybe i am lucky.

Nah, 3 days heating here there and everywhere, very gently, but no Luck
