AHL, LWR faulty after headlight replacement on F36 - thedafeet - 29-03-2024 Hey, I have trouble with headlights on my F36. I had to replace the right headlight after hitting the bird (mounts broke, headlights were working fine). Now they work, but the replaced one has a reversed high beams. When i press the high beams, they go up on left side as it should, but the right one is going down. When I do AHL, LWR and roller tests on osta-d, it behaves just as the left one. I tried to code it via esys, but i am not sure if i do it right. I just pressed code on FLA and FEM_BODY. It still shows me the same programming date (and production date) on both headlights in ista. Below are the pictures of ista codes, and how it looks like in real life. https://ibb.co/0VgtM1v https://ibb.co/j6CTLdK https://ibb.co/n3vcD9w https://ibb.co/5rHy5Z6 https://ibb.co/kMQPVTV https://ibb.co/tpb6M3z Any help appreciated, I have no idea what could be wrong. Car is eu, seller says the lamp is also eu. Most of the modules are replaced, only one with the motor on the main xenon is not touched. They both move around also perfectly during tests. RE: AHL, LWR faulty after headlight replacement on F36 - Node - 29-03-2024 You did know, that you can buy OFFICIAL repair kit for broken mounts!? On your question: this behaviour is emergency operation due to your FAULTS. FIX faults and lights will start to work normally. I would, but after I just took the headlight off everything inside fell out, so also took some damage and I figured it would be easier to find another one. Dont make me regret that oneĀ RE: AHL, LWR faulty after headlight replacement on F36 - Node - 29-03-2024 Have you checked all the wires are ok inside that lamp and between FEM and STMR??? IMHO either your module is not compatible with lamp hardware or there are internal or communication faults between the STMR and FEM (LIN bus wire?). RE: AHL, LWR faulty after headlight replacement on F36 - thedafeet - 29-03-2024 Everything besides highbeams works fine, here's the video of the test: https://files.fm/u/buz76puy7x Errors only occur if i flash the lights ~ton of times, on a day light setup it seems like right one is on high beams, when i press high beams by the steering wheel it goes down. It somehow looks like switched pins only on that motor. What's it's part number? RE: AHL, LWR faulty after headlight replacement on F36 - qbek90 - 01-04-2024 My friend was similar problem,he mounted USA TMS for ECE lamp,in F15. |
