M performance brake DSC2 SBRE coding - Ckh091020 - 21-04-2024

Hi to all

I have a F15 40e with custom brake system installed, upgraded thermal mass with proper sized front and rear pistons caliper, my last step is to parametrize the DSC2 , specifically I want to understand what is the effect after switching SBRE coding in the FA. The hybrid car do not like to take the SBRE VO so I am entering the value manually, this DSC unit  seem to be physic/model base, setting such as Physic value , CG , CoF, Mass, must be enter , BBV , where I need help on is that  what other parameters required to properly adjust the DSC?  I am comparing data between X5M , X5 Gas car and Euro X5, some make sense some I am still searching for answer, items like 3007 Teilisten? how about 3005 BBV, what exactly I should enter to make it work? mainly I want to increase the Readiness value since the Hybrid part has delay of brake feel. My end goal is to understand how it works and understand  people on the forum saying coding it not working?  Obviously i want better modulate brake system.

Code "SPBR" does not change the brake disc diameter, when installing the FA "2NH" the brake disc diameter is corrected via coding.

SPBR brake Ho WORD code, only changes the first 2 lines of the DSC coding structure (menu 3000) as far as I remember

With only “SPBR” coding (from the dealer) the M-
Performance brake system flawless

With "SPBR" + "2NH" encoding the feeling is not the same (very aggressive and less modular)

Retrofitting Blue Performance Package is the equipment code:
"KDD2" (BluePerformance Package Marketing)

Thank you for the quick reply!

For some reason the F15 ( at least for mine) do not have an option 2NH(see attached picture), I remembered my G series had 2NH thou , I do have KDD2 , it names as KDD2 Retrofit ( picture attached), Diesel BluePerformance Package, it sound like a Diesel 123 fluid, I will try that.

By entering SBRE, there are few setting changes in DSC2 module ( According BU software) , even I make changes in the FDL without SBRE, it doesn't seem change anything, I wonder what it is doing in the background by just changing the FDL value to a module, does it require to " COMPILE" it or Turn RUN on? coming from PLC world , love to learn how things work to make sure it is working specifically related to brake stuff.

Can someone explain how FDL coding to the module directly vs. the VO approach?
