Hello , there is a tip for reading the ECU in a BMW E92 with msd81 ? when I work with my galletto and OBD is an error . on 40 % . should the control unit be expanded ?

Hi jimmy..probably is the voltage isue..you need 14volt for programing with this car..

Don't try msd81 with galletto. It can Not calculate checksum. You may get error when writing file back at 88% (like me). With swiftec checksum corrected file i was able to write 100% but car doesn't start.
And x17 can not do msd 8x. So only way is kess (which did it for ne) or cmd

Yes that is true..cmd is veri powerful tool I need to buy it too..I have many problems with galletto with new cars..

You can just use your android mobile phone with MicroUSB to USB adapter and DCAN Cable: MHDFlasher, works very well.
You can use Bavarian technix cable and use free flash software from bimmerforums or n54tech.
You can use OpenFlash Tablet etc. Lots of ways writing msd80/81, all the professional ecu tools can not do it well :P

I did read write with mhdflasher and mobile phone, works like a charm!
