Audi A5 BCM 2 strange issue - CodeDoc - 12-05-2024
Hello, i have Audi A5 2008 with BCM2 faulty i ordered new one from Audi and learned online with ODIS i got message all OK. But car not start and ELV is always opened, when i close ELV manualy and put the key he has got opened but later when i remove the key i got ignition off but ELV not closed. Wiring checked between ELV and BCM is fine.
Any suggestions? new ELV?

fault memory (whole car!) empty? maybe upload an autoscan from vcds.
what was the fault of the original bcm?

As my friend writes, why was the old BCM replaced? Some error scan or something... You should do everything online if you have a new BCM. Unless the whole problem was not in the BCM but somewhere else. You need to provide more information.

old bcm is dead no ignition and not regonise with odis, i wroted alreday that i did it online. cheers

Hi, you must simulate a replacement of the ELV as if you had replaced it, otherwise check the comparison of the actual values of all the ecus
