Toyota to nissan ecu swap - spanaz1 - 05-08-2015
Hello Guys,
we have a project of rebuilding a Nissan Datsun. we have done all the modifications, we have thrown in a 1991 Nissan sentra GA16DE engine but now the problem is that the ecu is flied and we can't find a replacement. Now my mate was telling me not to worry he will wire an ecu from Toyota corolla 5A-FE into the nissan engine. The question is, is this possible and can it work? will the ecu work with the sensors of Nissan?

Halo mate first think of the NE G IGF IGT if they match then the THW TP ECT MAP
After then compare the cranking Angle
If u sot this out u lucky u done car must start

You are right,i don't think they can all match. even if cranking angle or ignition trigger signal match we will end up loosing power or miss-fire. its a waste of time trying I will just order a matching ecu on eBay.
THAT'S WHY CARTECHNOLOGY IS THE BEST, WE LEARN NEW THINGS EVERY DAY!!!
