HOW TO MAKE ICOMA2 TO WORK WITH INPA, NCSEXPERT,& WINKFP - Yhwsha - 10-08-2015

Hello members

i was asking if there is a way you could show me how to let my icoma2 talk to my bmw using inpa, ncsexpert and winkfp throught the ediabas server settings.
i have easyconnect and i'm clueless what to do, i want to use winkfp to talk to icoma2 to flask DSC, KOMBI, GWS, & DME Modules instaed of the K+dcan cable.

i here that K+dcan cable can be problematic for KOMBI6 & NBT, DSC, & DME module in the e60

You need to select REMOTE as the interface (edit EDIABAS.INI) and set the RemoteHost entry to the address of your ICOM (most likely 169.254.92.38 if you have it plugged directly into your laptop).

Edit: you can use the itoolradar app to find the ICOM address if it doesn't use the above address.

Use easyconnect.
Or if you edit ediabas.ini you can use itoolradar

Itoolradar works best, its easiest to use since it automatically finds the ICOM for you then you double click reserve and it will work fine. while ediabas is set in REMOTE.
