This is to warn everyone who decide to buy Chinese clone of NISSAN CONSULT III Plus tool.
I purchased the tool from this seller: http://www.auto-diagnostic-tool.com/por.asp?fid=104&id=261 which has caused several damage to the car while the tool was connected - ECM and BCM modules died
I have to add that I used to work with genuine Nissan Consult III Plus software quite frequently so it's not caused by lack of knowledge!!!
Chinese clone also did not work as genuine NISSAN tool. It could not detect car VIN, communication was dropping most of the time, etc. etc...
Stay away of Chinese crap if you like your car..

It depends of how much you buy,me personal have not this VCI but I know ppl's who are using clone VCI and have no problem,so not generalize+not think I'm not an chinese market fan but maybe you chose to buy a cheap version or simply you have bad luck

The clone C3+ is expensive in China. But it not same as original C3+ at all, Only has the same cover. It can't support several function of C3+ etc. reprogramming.

Chinese crap allows to scan and clear errors, and the best case scenario to change some settings. But it cannot handling monitoring functions i.e. you set to monitor ECM but after a while, it dropps connection to OBDII and laptop and the only thing you can do is to kill Consult app and reconnect VCI from OBDII and the laptop. In general, it is very unstable device, which if get disconnected in crucial moment, will damage some ICU.
It is fraud to sell this chinese crap for such high amount, when better job can do full version of Xpro3 with hacked EasyDiag OBD scanner (which support all makes on the globe). The other thing is that the seller is lying & cheating. They didn't want to accept item return and when they connected remotely to my laptop, didn't even have basic knowledge of how to using it. They only managed to check whether VI2 driver was installed properly.
I don't mind what you do with your money, I just wanted to warn innocent people who decide to spent their hardly earned money on this tool. BE AWARE OF THESE LIMITATIONS AND STAY AWAY OF FRAUDELENT PRACTICES OF AUTO-DIAGNOSTIC-TOOL.

Yes. It has been a well known fact for years. If you want to use this tool then buy genuine new or used from usa.

I badically learned if i buy something from china dont expect warranty. Been burned a few times with other tools. As far as consult 3 goes i use my cardaqm j2534 and consult3 software minor changes and it workes no programming. I have only tried 3 cars. I think i got the software from hasoon2000 here or another forum not sure.
