DiagBox 7.76 - Simple - 03-09-2015
This was the first site I would visit to find the latest DiagBox updates. It looks like going down few times and loosing a valuable amount of history (data), have also lost it the contribution of important members.
Any way, I want to share with all, DiagBox 7.76 is already out on other sites, and I hope Maitresox will post it on this site.

Thanks to Maitresox, I have upgraded to DiagBox v7.74 followed by v7.76 flawlessly, regrettably Maitresox asked not to post the files and password on any site. I suppose he will soon make them publicly available.
In any case, I cant see any extra benefit as my car is 2003 and the new updates are to accommodate newer cars and developments.

for your car (2003 year) the best option is the last update of lexia/pp2000...

Just for general information, the latest stand alone Lexia version that I have is "348.01" and the one that comes with DiagBox 7.76 is "500.71".

I have just finished installing DiagBox v7.02 and updating to v7.76 on Windows 10 x86 on VMware Workstation; for fun... and while I was at it, I took notes of the software and firmware versions:
DiagBox v7.02 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.46 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.0
DiagBox v7.57 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.66 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.2
DiagBox v7.58 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.66 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.2
DiagBox v7.62 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.68 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.3
DiagBox v7.66 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.68 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.4 (.NET 3.5 is needed)
DiagBox v7.74 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.70 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.4 (.NET 3.5 is needed, run as Administrator or XP compatibility)
DiagBox v7.76 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.71 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.4 (.NET 3.5 is needed, run as Administrator or XP compatibility)
DiagBox v7.77 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.71 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.4 (.NET 3.5 is needed, run as Administrator or XP compatibility)
The 4 points you need to consider for a successful DiagBox v7.xx on Windows 10 installation are:
1- Windows 10 automatically tries to use GPT, you may need to change to MBR, so that you can use IDE (Legacy) hard disk controller, else you will get the dreaded error 0.. Changing from (AHCI) to IDE may impose speed penalty; depending on your hardware. This is why I prefer using VirtualBox or VMware Player/Workstaion.
2- You need to install .NET 3.5 if you want to install DiagBox v7.66 or above. I also had Firefox and 7zip installed.
3- You (may) wish to plug-in the Lexia interface and install the drivers "ACTIAPnPInstaller.exe" before installing DiagBox v7.01 to ensure the multi-instance driver is installed.
4- You need to run DiagBox either as administrator or in XP compatibility mode for v7.74 and above. Otherwise you will get a message to reactivate
The below pictures show DiagBox v7.76 on Windows 10 and Lexia 500.71 version working, the 2nd picture is live Gearbox data, the 3rd is a Temporary fault (injection) and the 4th is Windows 10 Desktop with "This PC" Properties...

The updates you have done, wil the same updates be possible in Windows XP sp 3?
Will it be possible to update to V7.76 using Windows XP and .NET 4.0?

A "Simple" answer is yes (excuse the pun), it runs very well on Windows XP needing less resources.
Please see attached photo. I started by installing DiagBox 7.01, then performed all upgrades until DiagBox v7.76. Apart from an error message after installing 7.66, which was sorted by installing Microsoft .NET 3.5 (can be download separately); all installation and upgrades were smooth.
p.s. The system I have is: HP ENVY-M6, Intel i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive, running Windows 10 64bit. DiagBox v7.76 is installed on Windows XP which is running on VirtualBox 5.0.5r102660.
