key programming
Hello everyone, I bought an ID48 for my Seat Ibiza 6J5 2013 on ali. Can I have the key programmed via VCDS or ODIS (without GeKo)? Or do I need something else?
Thank you

If you have the secret code, yes.
If not, via ODISS online

RE: key programming
not possible,
you need abrites or some tool that can clone your id48 immo chip

RE: key programming
It doesn't work with vcds. With the MQB 48, i.e. the 5A immobilizer, you need a dealer key to program it into the vehicle. With the MQB 48, you can do this if you have the CS code.

The key also contains immobilizer data that VCDS cannot read or write

In my experience, if you clone an MQB48 key directly, the remote control no longer works. However, this could be incorrect information from me.

sorry, I mixed up the car... thought it was already built on mqb

RE: key programming
yeah unfortunately not possible with vcds. I asked the same question for the same car years ago. "skc" is useless on these cars pq25.
My biggest regret is not buying abrites clone when it was cheap, it can adapt new cluster to these cars, add keys etc.
now the price is more than double...

RE: key programming
I use Autel Immo 508s. I was able to use it to get the WFS data, such as the CS code, etc., from a Skoda Octavia 1Z via OBD. With an adapter, I read the EEPROM of my old analog MQB speedometer for the CS code. Now I'm considering buying the larger VAG Pro Diag set.
