Hi, so: 120OHMs on ECU, ECU CONNECTOR, ABS CONNECTOR ON BOTH COUPLE OF CABLE. The CAN error comms persists. The DASH connector CAN resistance is around 26 OHMs, so I think the problem is between the IPC and BCM cables? That’s why the IPC doesn’t program itself with the code? |

RE: Corsa C Z18XE IPC Issue
In this vehicle, BCM is acting as a gateway. The part between ECM, ABS, TCM( if fitted) and BCM is high speed CAN, the part between BCM and IPC is low speed CAN.
I don't see how a failure in low speed CAN could affect high speed CAN. In the absence of an oscilloscope, to see the CAN waveform, you will have to start swapping parts and see what restores comms. IPC get programed by k-line. I suspect bad programmer. Nothing in this vehicle gets programmed by CAN. |

I can try swapping the BCM with another one. But it’s strange that the resistance values are ok and still no communication between ECM AND ABS.I bought a full block from a Tigra, except ABS. Now I can try with another BCM from my other Corsa C. Thanks for your help. |

RE: Corsa C Z18XE IPC Issue
The end resistors are just that, resistors, placed between CAN H and CAN L. However, it can happen that CAN transceivers go bad in time. For example, see this case study I made a while back, but CAN is known to fail in many many ways. See also a few youtube from Automotive Test Solutions of Bernie Thompson, he is good.
