Isnt there a recall for this abs Unit? Had also once on a g05 m50d this Kind of problem it was the abs hydraulic block you only can build pressure up to the brake and Not Release it because the solenoid is Stuck

Open up the bleeder valve to Release the pressure on the brake

No recall on this
The front brakes only lock when i put the car in D/B otherwise it will release
Can it be the Long range radar sensor upfront ?

RE: BMW G60 I5 brake issue after programing
Yes,
In the BMW i5, the long-range sensors (radar/camera systems) do affect braking in two distinct ways: through normal driver assi5тдnce features and in relation to a recent safety recall concerning the Integrated Brake (IB) module.

1. Normal Function (Adaptive Driving and Collision Mitigation)
The i5's driver assi5тдnce systems use sensors to automatically adjust speed and apply braking, which is a key рдят of its functionality.
Adaptive Regenerative Braking: In "D" mode with the adaptive setting selected, the car uses sensor information from the navigation system and driver assi5тдnce systems (like radar detecting cars ahead) to automatically adjust the level of regenerative braking. This means the vehicle will slow down on its own when approaching another vehicle or a turn point.
Forward Collision Mitigation: The system is designed to automatically intervene with brake pressure if it detects an impending collision, even if the driver is not braking. This is a safety feature that relies heavily on the "long-range sensors".
Customization: Drivers can adjust the sensitivity of these systems or drive in "B" mode for consistent one-pedal driving, which also engages the brake lights based on deceleration G-forces.

2. Safety Recall Issue
A more critical issue is an ongoing safety recall for certain 2023-2025 BMW models, including the i5, due to a potential malfunction in the Integrated Brake (IB) module.
The Problem: The IB module may not function to specifications, potentially leading to a loss of power brake assist. This requires the driver to use significantly more pedal force to stop the vehicle, resulting in an extended stopping di5тдnce and increased risk of a crash.
Connection to Sensors: The specific fault is related to a potential signal disruption in an internal engine position sensor within the IB module, which can disrupt the hydraulic brake force support.
Action Required: If your i5 is affected (you can check using your VIN on the BMW USA recall website), dealers will replace the integrated brake system module free of charge.
In summary, the sensors are designed to actively manage your braking under normal conditions, but a known defect in the brake system itself, which can be related to internal sensor issues, is a significant safety concern addressed by a mandatory recall.
