hi, i have here a W172 that original have halogen headlights, need help to retrofit LED headlights.


need help with coding and wiring orientation, know that exist some wirings looms for this retrofit but dont find for tis car.

any help is apreciated

ps: SAM is compatible, have already to put headligts switch with auto and level sensors.

Need to have e2 can in car firstly, if you don't have, then you should replace ezs. Tip: if you have rear view camera then you got e2. Secondly you should dl starfinder or wis and make wiring after that obviously you should code. Easier to have aed from car with oem leds for easier job

Im unsure how I can help you, you need to compare wiring diagrams for halogen and led, leds I assume will be 641/642 code, firstly you will need to find exact car, read codings or ask for them especially f-sam (i guess samf172) and HLI, LCU modules. Read wiring diagram, if your car is pre-facelift and headlights are facelift, you probably will need to replace sam to support E2 if camera is on G. I might be wrong about can names
