Hi,

There have been alot in the media about a laptop that can extend smart keys so that if you have a Renault with a smart key you have to place the laptop anywhere within 4m of the key and the laptop will forward the signal of the key to a device that can then be used for opening and driving with the car.

Does anyone know what these system are called?

Key frequency hacking equiptment available to all car theives via china route . I can not see any diagnostic value that isnt already available but I do see the possibility of car theft rising


Remember the law has the same access to these items so think ? Could it be possible , if its now easier to steal a car , could I possibly be caught easier ???? Just some food for thought ...
