In 4.01 I could go to "operations" then "finished" then select a car I have tested before, the "Control Unit tree" then select a ECU and "Call up ECU Functions" would become available to check what functions are available for that ECU.

All done without car connected

But with standalone 4.03 "Call up ECU Functions" never becomes available to select when you choose a ECU.


Did 4.03 get rid of this function or is there a setting missing.

And the ECU functions are available from when selecting a car tested some days ago and you are not connected to any car at the time of checking ?

My ECU functions button stays greyd out with the version above

FASTAOut has data for each car by VIN ( I Can see Operations reports in ISTA)
OrderDataView is empty in both ISTA versions

Made no difference, but I found a way


When I open a cars ECU-tree it is shown like it was when disconnected from ISTA (ie all green ECU's (or 1 or 2 with fault memory etc etc)

If I then choose simulation under VCI config and select "vehicle test" i get given a bunch of numbered connections to choose from (Instad of Enet or Ediabas)

If I choose anyone of those connections It says car not found. But if I press "Vehicle test" again it tries to test the ECU's and turns them all red.

Now with the red ECU's the "ECU function" button becomes available again.
