I installed a new head unit, but now when it is turned on, turn off the date in Display Mid.

From what I hear the Tech II can modify the MID doing that the date remains same as the radio on.

My question: This modification can be done with the Opcom?

My car: Vectra B, 2001.

Hello there I will pinout mid later and check if opcom can program this I have a few dif displays here I can test so I'm sure we can sort it

Post picture of your mid switched on if possible.

Yes it can be done with Opcom, not sure how it's done on Vectra B but check out how its done on Astra H and it might be similar to yours.

To change the date on the DIS follow these commands:-

Diagnostic>
2006>
Astra H>
Infotainment>
DIS>
Programming>
Set Time and Date>Set the date and press program

Exit the program, turn ignition off and disconnect the interface.

Yes it can be done with Opcom, not sure how it's done on Vectra B but check out how its done on Astra H and it might be similar to yours.

Thank you for your attention.

The first photo of the MID with the radio off. The date appears in the second line. In the second picture of the MID the radio is turned on. The date this off. In this space, with the original radio stations appeared. I would like to keep the same date with the radio on.
I know that the Tech II can program the MID for the date is maintained.
I would like to make this change with the Opcom.
I appreciate all the help.
