ECU SMBF passenger seat disappeared from ISTA
Strange problem:
In a friend's F10 the ECU which controls the passenger seat has disappeared from list and tree in ISTA. The VO was not changed, but the seat can't be adjusted with the knobs or with ISTA, everything is dead. But all fuses are okay?! I'm quite sure there has to be an ECU for the passenger seat as well as for the driver seat. Any hints? Hit Thanks and Reputation button if this post helped you.

RE: ECU SMBF passenger seat disappeared from ISTA
Can this be done with ISTA?
Or with ESYS? And how? As I said, it's not even visible in any program... Hit Thanks and Reputation button if this post helped you.

RE: ECU SMBF passenger seat disappeared from ISTA
Can't be done because you will need a good dump.
Check according the wiring schema all 12V and minus + k-can. If the wiring is in tact you fried the module. Can you check in e-sys if it is visible? You can also exchange the module with the driver side and see if it works. MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

RE: ECU SMBF passenger seat disappeared from ISTA
Hello
Do you have a small module or a large module under the passenger seat? |

If you have a small module It's normal. However, if you have the big module, it must be missing a mass (negatif)to add to the module
