Hi

I have a 2011 VW crafter van in for repair.
The customer originally had a fault of
38400 - n2\14 (Lowline/highline airbag control of unit)-internal fault.
The original airbag ecu has been tampered with by another garage and has now got multiple faults which won't clear.
I have got hold of a replacement ecu but when fitted it has one fault which is
37300 - CANbus signal key id from control of unit EZS is implausible.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need post here file or use good file from the same unit and via Star diagnoza initialising startup ...

Old file
Gives a fault of 38400 N2/14 (Low line/high line airbag control of unit) - internal fault.

New file
Gives a fault of 37300 Canbus - Can signal key ID from control of unit EZS is implausible.

We have tried swapping the eprom and all that did is transferred the original fault to the new ecu.

ECU: 0 285 010 349
Eprom is 95320.

I think your srs unit hardware is bad, but try this if you want and report.

I originally thought hardware but both eprom only has 1 fault in each ecu. Both faults are different and transfer with eprom swap.

Can I ask what you have modified in file?
