hi, i hope someone can help me with that.
Startkey in configassist is not working.
1. Tried with keygen, no success --> see pictures
2. tried with method modify ZBUS.ini --> Javax --> no success
3. tried "old key" and copy to registry --> no success

What was my mistake? And can someone please support?

That is a very good question. I had the same happen 3-4 times and followed step by step. The only way I was able to have a successful install was on a *clean* Windows 7 Enterprise x64 SP1 with zero Windows Updates applied, and immediately begin the install with no network connection. To this point I have no idea what is breaking it - all Add-Ons install and is working perfectly, but no Windows Updates.  I have not had time to determine the culprit but intend to. 

Try my suggestion and report back.

I see you are using Windows 10. I tried installing on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC x64 2019 and it failed. Some suggest disabling Secure Boot. May be worth a shot.

Hi, you need to turn you're wireless off for starters as youll not be able to enter any key which will be accepted. The date format on the keygen also has to be something like 20181212 to 20241212

I would recommend a fresh installation.  Many of us use our laptops for many things and have Microsoft Office and other auto manufacturer's diagnostic tools installed as well, but as of recent *something* is interfering with ConfigAssist.  If you want to guarantee a working install, I would recommend a clean installation of Windows on another partition or in a Virtual Machine (VMware Workstation is the product of choice for me).

And yes, i would recommend not having a network connection active.  ConfigAssist will query the server to match your hardware ID and attempt to automatically install your StartKey for you and determine there is not one associated with it.  That could set a registry value or a file or NTFS stream that prevents future keys from being accepted.  Again, I haven't had the time  to research it recently, but the clean install of Windows 7 (and it may work for 8.1/10 too)  worked without issue.  That is where I would start.
