Greetings,can someone pls help with the correct tools to do eis on w202 merc with nec key,i was advised to get xprog and bought one ,now was told need a nec programmer,so i dont know wht next, because i might have a faulty key or eis,vehicle is standing for weeks now,can one kindly advise which tool can sort this issue so i can buy once and for all.

Take my advice on benz keys
Cheap tools = More headache + lot of wasting time
Good Tools = Save time and money

VVDI MB is good so far with fair price

Did you test xprog? Most arrived not working and need to buy more tools to fix xprog and ...........

And if it is for one own key maybe price high
Go to nearest locksmith and make new key its very cheaper .regards

The thing is the reason i want to do myself is the locksmith here are just in for money and to rip people off and with your guys help im sure i can do it as i have some understanding and know how just the little bit extra knowledge from you guys,my xprog working perfect ,read the dump and sent it to volavka,

are you pretty sure this can write key dumps thru IR ??
As far i know this Device ONLY read SSID, Key number , so its almost useless

as Mr.Shinehead like start from Zer0 , let me suggest what's i was using before 10 - 13 years
For reading Ezs w210, w211,w203...etc i had used xprog on most of this types
also xprog work well on OLD Key with Motorola hc05e6 , Read/Write with no Problems
and finaly the small key wit nec i was using the gold Nec Prog aliexpress Link for NEC Prog


And for Generate keys , Repair dump , just Post in the Forums .. With Pleasure to help you about

Yes it works. But you have to edit the key dump before writing. ID and password must be written "backwards". Something like this:
normal: AABBCCDD
before writing it must look like this: DDCCBBAA
