IIRC the bad path error is caused by a HDD/ partition/ or in your case a virtual drive conflict. Recall having a similar issue using a partitioned HDD, although many years ago so details are vague.

By default this software installs to "C" drive and will need to be installed on XP or XP compatibility mode. Haven`t tried a VM install myself, but you will need to ensure the program sees & installs to "C." It also fills up your my docs folder with all the DLLs, so suggest creating a separate folder first.

I don`t know if you got the program from another thread here or what your source was, but had issues using the mini CD disk that came with the Chinese hardware and found another source. With updates the total program size is 69MB. Here are the instructions I used, if they are different to what else is here I could later upload what I have.

Thank you! I downloaded the software from there not from the cd. I will try to install wit this manual, I hope it can work.
