Hi,

I have a Mini Cooper S manual N18 with MEVD1722 ECU which had a broken DME. (No communucation at all, I cannot even read it in boot mode)
I bought a second-hand ECU from a Mini Countryman Cooper S ALL4 Automatic with the same hardware number. I read the ISN from the new DME and programmed it in CAS using BMW Scanner v2018.12.
Afterwards, I programmed the ZB-NR that ISTA/P expected using WinKFP and then coded it using NCS Expert.

Later, I executed the entire ISTA/P measures plan and everything went fine, even teaching in the neutral sensor worked fine. ISTA/P did not program the DME again.

If I now read the ECU VINs, all 3 are correct and the ZB-NR is correct as well, but I still get DTC's about not receiving messages from ESG.

The ECU originally had ZB-nr 7644442 and I programmed 7644424. Programming with WinKFP didn't take long, I guess only the data was programmed (I used comfort mode).

I still get the following error codes (cannot be deleted):
3BDD No message (EGS torque request, 0xB5), DME receiver, EGS transmitter
3BE1 No message (transmission data, 0xBA), DME receiver, EGS transmitter

3BD8 No message (transmission data 2, 0x1A2), DME receiver, EGS transmitter

I have no clue why it is setting these error codes. Did I program the incorrect ZB-NR? If so, then why is ISTA/P suggesting that ZB-NR?

Try to erase adaptions/variants from dme under service functions in ista.

I would say that is crazy, but ISTA was still connected so i tried it anyway.
