Hi Quick question. I have an f30 with base audio. No amp. If I wanted to retrofit a top hifi/logic 7/ Harman Kardon amp from a different f series or even e90 , can it be done?

For example a seven series top hifi lear most amp or an e90 logic 7 most amp in f30?

You can install any amp from a F serie.
I don't know if an amp of an E series will fit but why use an old amp if newer ones are also available.

The only reason I mentioned an e90 amp was because it’ cheaper to obtain than an f series one. No other reason.

Technically , any amp with MOST connection works with any car in any version .

I did F01 amp in E60 retrofit , F10 amp in E81 , F10 amp in E90 , E70 amp in E87 and I have F25 amp in my F31 now ,

if you know what you are doing then its piece of cake job . I always make my own metal brackets as sometimes the OEM ones wont handle other amps from different models .

E90 amp has a very good chance not to work properly in F series, especially with EVO. Even had issues with NBT retrofit in E series using E6x top high amp, even though it had the latest firmware installed
I would not fit a E series anp to a F series personally
