VW Passat brake switch- sensor
Hi , VW Passat 2011
Brake light on all the time I have new ( after market switch) but still the same Vcds show light switch (f) on It's any way to test the magnetic brake switch ??? Thanks |

brake swich is connected to ECU and BCM
do measure block to see where is loosing signal |

Is the brake switch mounted properly? When not positioned correctly it can be malfunctioning too.

The brake master cylinder magnet may also be defective.

so .... sensor was proper fitted , after many days checked all wiring I FOUND that the ECU / engine / damaged by water ......
