Hi friends,


I have problem with properly egr_off on Skoda Octavia PCR2.1, I have made egr off by swiftec, but it is not good, in the sense DPF regeneration is always present, the car smoking, oil level is higher (diesel into oil).
Simple said, ECU did not reset km and time, even actual soot is 0 gr, diff. press 3mB ! Regen is still a live !
Once bad thing is that car is driving into urban area continuosly!
DPF problem was not present before, it is coused by egr turned off, I'm sure.

So, I need properly egr_dtc_off with egr connector disconected, and properly dpf regen conditions after.

Lots say davinci is working on pcr2.1 so who knows

yes my friend, I have seen that info about DV, also, I have just compared DaVinci  and Swiftec solution, seems DV should work, but did not test yet. If  I test, will report, need a some time to properly test the car, days and days...

Thanks to all for help, DV file seems Ok till now, no dtc, egr plug MUST be connected...but, will see...
Night before, I have tested the car completed, what is important to me...the working temperature was OK, but...last night there is NOT, I have "catch" it !! Full loaded car and ECT is less than 80C ! That-s not good and can couse lower temp into exaust and non properly regen conditions.
Probably thermo element problem, common problem...
However, there is another important thing to me and I'm think about it a lot....that is termination of egr function. !!!
Because, the egr itself lets hot air from exaust to the air inlet, on the same way cooling inlet air, but heating water in engine at same time! Of course, in the case urban driving, before turbo open. In urban driving, this seems to be very important.



Will see, I will test more, collect all info and share. Thanks to all for helping.
