And why was it not updating before? You said you tried Esys and it still errored out. What made it complete successfully?

The issue was DHCP server in ICOM was not enabled

Yeah. As long as you are programming the HU with ICOM you need to set DHCP. Has to do with how IPs are allocated to ICOM and HU

to allocate same ip address for ICOM and HU or ICOM and Laptop? can I use old router? to assign same IP's after reconnect?
