Hi folks,

Need an E-sys guru around... So I'm trying to flash two ATM-01 units, both fail. One is on 1803 second one is on 2207. Doesn't matter if I try to upgrade, downgrade or flash the same istep.
I've tried E-sys 3.26, 3.27, 3.30, 3.40 (different isteps of course). 

It fails always at second bootloader - flsl. I've tried to flash btld first, that works, but how can I flash flsl second then? (I've only removed it from TAL). Can I specify the order?

Do you sometimes use the "HW-IDs from SVTactual" option? If your Hwel is different there is no chance of flash

All HWELs use the same swfls and btlds (ATM-01-Roof and ATM-01-Trunk).

The point is, it has to do with not flashing the BTLD before FLSL... I think :-?? Until I really get angry and dump the binaries directly to MCUs...

That FLSL is NOT a real FLSL, but rather is mapped to FLUP. Thing with FLUPs is they work on SPECIFIC upgrade from CERTAIN FLSL to another CERTAIN FLSL. In any other case you will get a fault. NO MORE useful data was provided WHAT EXACTLY you are updating FROM!!!

That FLSL is really that FLSL. In pszdata 3.55 the second bootloader is not mapped to a FLUP. I am trying to downgrade this ATM from 1803 to whatever is 3.55...

My problem is that I cannot flash any btld on these... swfl goes without a problem, as long they match the signatures from the specific btld which is already on them...

I was able to flash an G30 ATM only with ICOM, i know Esys like ENET more

That was your mistake and not esys/ENET.
I treat all F, G and I series only with enet. Except F cars with very old ZGW.

The issue was not the connection. It was FLSL 4320 instead of FLSL 4321.
Check Memory <-> bootloader signature doesn't match the swfl/flsl signature.
