I need to flash an RDC unit in Esys but it already has the latest software. How can I force flash it?

The only option Esys gives me is to de-install the RDC.

When you read the SVT and save it as SVT_ist,
click edit and find the module you want to flash.
Under BTLD, SWFL, and CAFD, change the main version to 000, save file and calculate SVT_soll

Thx. I did that but it didn't work... Don't know why, it just doesn't change anything, the only option after calculation is still to deInstall the module.

Ok. Could you provide more details? I'm an absolute novice in Esys so I don't know how to do that. Any help is much appreciated.

Are a lot of videos on yt about how to flash. But main question is WHY? What you want to do and conclude that you need reflash?

If ESys tells you to deinstall the module then FIX the VO, so that module would be required. That is completely different issue than forcing the flash.
