Hi. I have a BMW G30 2017. After several wheels alignments, I think my car thinks the steering wheel straight is not at the same position as it was actually set to be during the wheels alignment process. I am not planning to do a reset now, just want to see where my car thinks the "Zero" position is (meaning straight).

I can connect to the car with Rheingold, read fault codes (which I almost have none, luckily), but from there I don't know where to proceed to get the steering wheel position reading. Could someone give a general description of what to do to get to the readings? I get that there are such concepts as test plan, several ways to run routine procedures, so a normal BMW ISTAD language would be fine, I'll figure it out. Thanks in advance.

In the module tree, click the power steering module and call up ecu functions. There's a tab in there that allows you to view live data.
