Hi,
I currently have the problem, that the ISTA doesn‘t show the Engine or the Model of the car anymore. It also doesn’t show any service functions or test plan for the engine. 

I attached a picture with the two - where the Engine and Model used to be.

I tried it on different cars but no engine test plan is shown.

Does anyone have a clue how to get it back?

What version of ISTA + do you use? Mine does not show the engine volume, but the type does. This does not affect the function.

i used 4.18.2x. On this car it didn’t show the type, so the faults came up, but it didn‘t put anything engine related into the test plan.

And the testplan only shows priority 3+ so 1+2 are missing. This happens to all cars, even with the newer 4.18.30 and other cars. There it shows the engine type, but the model is still missing.

This is the beginning of going partial online (((( At the dealer or users who use online solutions everything normally shows and does.

I tested with my Standalone and with Offline License, working, only Sales designation is empty, because need online connection.

bmw is starting to move its diagnosis to ONLINE, as in the VAG group.  I think with time, bmw uses complete online diagnosis only, I think it will make the offline, standalone version unusable.

the strange thing is that the photo in the first post is of a 2012 car, so it shouldn't have any diagnostic problem.  the problems will start with more recent and future cars ..
