I am using Ford IDS 112.04 and when programming or doing PMI I am having difficulty finding the files.
IDS doesn't seem to be able to retrieve the files from the internet/network anymore.
Therefore I have downloaded the calibration files and the as built data files and placed them in "c:\Program Files\Ford Motor Company\Calibration Files".
IDS still tells me that it can't find the files on the local machine.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

In todays case, I am trying to use as built data. The IDS can't find the as-built data on the computer or online. 
So, I manually downloaded the as-built data for VIN 1FTPW14V78KD72430 from "https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt"
 and received the file 1FTPW14V78KD72430.ab

As per directions, I placed the file in "c:\Program Files\Ford Motor Company\Calibration Files"

When I attempt to run the procedure again, the IDS still says the file cannot be located on the computer.

That's how it's done. I wonder if your IDS is corrupted somehow. Maybe try a reinstall?

When I'm doing just as-built I find Forscan works so much faster than IDS. Might want to give it a try. It can use *.ab files too.

I removed and reinstalled IDS and it started working correctly now. Thank you
