How to delete ICOM FW registered on PC


When downgrading after registering new ICOM or ICOM NEXT FW msi on PC (ISTA)
Even if the desired FW Msi file is executed as it is, the downgraded FW cannot be registered to the PC (ISTA).

If you uninstall the ICOM NEXT firmware in Windows settings/add/delete apps
You can remove the ICOM version from the registry installed on your PC and the ICOM FW msi from the programdata folder.

Then run the msi of the ICOM FW you want to install and the new ICOM FW will be registered on your PC

A simple method, but

It is also effective when the FW of the clone ICOM cannot be updated.
