Had the same problem with 10" Notebook.... not a chance. You need 1024x768 minimum, no patch available !!!

ISTA-D need at least 1024x768.

My resolution is 1280x720 and stil many options out of the display.

Thats because of the 720, it should be 768, like 1280x768.

I resolve this problem with:

"Download Notepad++ H.E.R.E. and install
Make Copy of Original File from ISTAGUI.exe to ISTAGUI.exe.ORIGINAL
Open Notepad++ with Administrator Rights
Browse to ISTA-D Folder, and open File ISTAGUI.exe
Go to search and type 1024 and Change to 1440 ( I changed a week ago and it was in 2 places)
Then Change direction of search(up) and Type 768 and change to 900 ( I changed a week ago and it was in 2 places)
Save, Close Notepad++ and test it"

But in some menus there are options in the background are hidden

This is nothing new. By changing the resolution data in the ISTAGUI.exe you can edit the resolution to your needs,

BUT

ISTA needs at least 1024x768 to show all menues and entries properly. So with a sub netbook the resolution is always bad and will be.
ISTA was never intended to be used on such small displays.
