XZBMW  6L45 TCU software change form E90 to E83
Hi
I have   Used TCU 6L45 GM for BMW E90 330 and I want to change software of it to BMW E83 X3.
Who can help me?

You SHOULD REALLY call BMW units by their BMW names! Now you are getting answers about BMW TCU (telecommunications control unit) instead of EGS (transmission control unit)...

That said you should REALLY provide the part # which you have (or the VIN of the car it comes from). Some hardware was used on both E90 and E83, some was NOT.

This is TCU Transmission Control Unit, not Telecommunication Control unit. its EGS.

And what's the VIN of E90 your EGS comes from? That is kinda MUCH MORE important to check whether same hardware was used in E83...

7593082 is the sw for that car, the related hw number is not found in e89x family so imho not compatible.

E90 and E83 should share the same mechatronics. Software should be able to be loaded. Read old SW from EGS and write to Donor EGS with WINKFP
