Revert programmed ECM to Blank ECM
Does anyone know how to wipe an already programmed Nissan ECM back to blank programmable status?

Yes I would like to go back to virgin state. The vehicle the ECM came from is a 2013 Infiniti G37x AWD AT transmission (same ECM as 370z). The ECM flash part number currently stored is 23710-3LW5A and I'd like it to be at 23710-1A42A (G37 Coupe 2WD MT transmission) . Nissan will not allow the flash as my current ECM part number has a different flash path. If the ECM was virgin I could flash, or if I could alter the .dat file and trick NERS into thinking I had an ECM part number in that range it could flash properly. Kind of a shame it doesn't allow this, but I can understand why they would do it. The ECM file I wish to flash is attached. |
