HI TO ALL MEMBERS
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A 1998 MECR CLK 230 KOMPRESSOR
AT FIRST I THOUGHT JUST KEY PROBLEM AS KEY FAULTY IN EVERY DEPARTMENT WHEN GIVEN TO ME
I REPAIRED KEY BACK TO WORKING STATE AS WAS QUICKEST OPTION AS NOT BY THE CAR
I THEN GOT TO SEE CAR TO TEST KEY /CAR BATTERY VERY LOW JUST ABOUT LIT UP CABIN
I PUT BRAND NEW BATTERY ON CAR TESTED CL AND GOT NOTHING PUT KEY IN EIS NOTHING NON TURN
I CAN READ EIS BY IR AND IT GIVES ME UNIQUE SSID AND SERVICE HASH DATA BUT NO KEY HASH DATA AS IN NOT SHOWING A SINGLE KEY  IN ANY SLOT
IM PICKING EIS UP ON SATURDAY TO LOOK AT IT ON BENCH BUT NEED TO KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET KEY INFO BACK TO EIS
AS I SAY I DO HAVE WORKING KEY NOW
I THINK CAR BEEN JUMPED STARTED BUT OWNER SAYS NO
ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED

hello did you choose w210 w 203 ......... to read eis ? or auto mode ?
sometimes when i read eis if kkep it on auto won't read key data untill i specify the eis
for me wit st tools
what tool do you have

I SHOULD HAVE EIS TOMMOROW SO I CAN TEST ON BENCH EITHER IR OR OBD
I JUST THOUGHT IT STRANGE AS IT READ SSID BUT NOT SHOWING KEYS
I DONT DO MANY MERCS BUT I HAVE MESSED ABOUT WITH EIS MCUS AND VIRGIN ESL AND VIRGIN KEYS
I ALSO HAVE AVDI ORI AND CLONE AND ZEDFULL
MAINLY DO EVERY DAY CARS AND VANS 
I DID TRY AND DO A MERC COURSE BUT BECAUSE IM FROM SAME AREA THEY DIDNT WANT TO ENTERTAIN ME
SO IM A BIT LOST ON THE MERCS BUT IM WILLING TO LEARN 
WHEN I GET THE EIS I SHALL TEST AND REPORT BACK TO YOU

hi to all
i now have eis form car
i have tested on bench and can read all keys programed in
problem is the key i repaired is key no 5  but in eis it says key number 5 enabled but not used
so something is not quite right
but the owner says this key started his car before it went pete tong
i thought the ssid of key should match ssid of eis  but it does not
sorry to sound dumb but i dont do alot of mercs
i have pics of key data and eis data to compare
just something dont add up to me or im just daft
raffy if your about your help would be appreciated bud

you have now key data and the password ?
reset the key to virgin and reprogram it to new position or use new key
sometimes its key faulty
and test

i have read eis from car and have all key data
key i repaired is key no 5
but according to eis key 5 enabled but not used
customer says this key used to work his car
also ssid of key is different to eis ssid
i shall attach zip of data for you to look at
if key is wrong for the car then password from it as far as i know wont work for this eis
if you could look and let me know i would be grateful
and tell me where to go from here

Taking off EZS read HC05 it will take not more then 20 min, generate keys, program key and start the car.

Is the key old big one ? is insiside motorola mcu ?
If yes replace it by new be nec china key
Because they are known as faulty key they stop working suddenly
On monday i will check because out of my shop

i want to know to know if key was for this eis
key is working fully now repaired
customer says its for his car but i think not as key no 5 not used in eis
so maybe key and eis are both wrong as his eis is w210 and i think should be w208
something not quite right
im aware of taking mcu off and using dump to create key
i just need to know if this key was to this car originally
