Are you getting power to the DME? All fuses ok?
You should check the power wires with a multimeter. Does this car have a fusible link as well? This is a very large capacity fuse specifically for engine running, usually close to the battery, in line on the wire going to engine electronics. Second thing I would try is to do a read of the DME with BDM to see and compare if what you wrote into it is correct and not corrupted. |

So checked all positive and GND pins as well as CAN pinouts as mentioned in the paper. All looks good, Except resistance between one of 2 pins in the socket. (CAN Communication C38 - C51 - Ignition Off - Shows 125.3 Ohm, But in the paper it says 55-65 Ohm) - *PHOTO 1 attached* But other CAN Communication wire(D37-D36) Resistance is correct, shows around 65.1 Ohm) - *PHOTO 2 attached* Is that resistance can interrupt the communication? or is normal to be like this? As you mentioned the second thing, I will remove the DME and read it via BDM tonight and see how it goes, not sure whether I damage the DME or not. How can I compare the DME dump with the original I sent to you? Using what kind of software? Hex editor? Where should I need to check when do the compare process? Rest of the attached photo (3-5) are scan result of few modules in the car. Most of the modules error mentioned as "NO CAN". I remember last time when I try this DME with the car before re flash anything, it worked and detect in the software. Even inpa also detected. Did I fry up the DME?! Cheers! |
